Sacred Music in the New Orleans Dixieland Jazz Venue The Not-So-Modern Jazz Quartet plus plays a variety of Dixieland Jazz gospel type tunes for various occasions such as New Orleans Style Jazz funerals with a second line, jazz at Vespers and Good Friday and similar type services and worship rites, as well as gospel concerts. The venues are generally are structured to begin with slow dirges. and then gradually pick up the tempo to begin celebrating the good news. We can work closely with worship planners to smoothly integrate the music with the worship service. Some of our past venues are: Good Friday Service - Church of the Spirit - Kingstown2, VA (2 Services) Jazz at Vespers - All Saints Episcopal Church - Sunderland, Maryland Jazz Funeral - De Vol Funeral Home - Washington, DC
